About MKM
MKM Association is a premier association for the Luhya community living in Texas. It was founded in Houston Texas but has been registered as a non-profit 501c in the State of Texas, with Luhya members in Houston, Dallas, San Antonio and Austin and continues to grow "Mundu Khu Mundu" translates to "Man to Man," signifying our direct commitment to supporting one another.
We are dedicated to fostering social, economic, and cultural growth among our members, providing a home away from home where heritage thrives and unity builds strength.

What We Do
Benevolence
The Luhya Texas Community Benevolence Fund seeks to promote & strengthen unity in our Luhya community through the spirit of Harambee by lessening the burden of bereavement for our members.
Community Initiatives
The Luhya Texas Community is united in promoting the goals, vision and wellbeing of every Luhya Community in Texas. We seek to make sure that every member thrives and is able to contribute in a positive way.

Membership Eligibility
Becoming a member of MKM is a commitment to our shared heritage and future.
Residency & Heritage
Must be a Luhya (or married to one) and currently reside in the State of Texas.
Age Requirement
Must be at least 18 years of age or older to register as a primary member.
